A11yNeeds

Express needs. Make solutions visible.

A11yNeeds helps people describe their specific needs and helps services present the accommodations they can provide. The aim is simple: make access to services more concrete, without requiring people to justify themselves through a diagnosis.

I have needs to express

Create a needs profile, choose what you share, and transmit only the information that is useful to access a service.

Go to User

I receive or support people

Understand requests more easily, identify possible accommodations, and rely on a clear framework for action.

Go to Professional

I want to make my accommodations visible

Declare the accommodations your service can provide, support your teams, and embed accessibility in a quality process.

Connecting needs and solutions

A11yNeeds does not start from diagnosis. It starts from a concrete situation: a person wants to access a service, and certain needs must be taken into account for that access to be possible.

Accessibility is the means; inclusion is the direction

The project does not claim to solve every inclusion issue by itself. It acts on one specific point: making the meeting between a clearly formulated request and a clearly expressed offer easier.

Share needs without telling everything

The person chooses what they share, with whom, in which context and at what level of detail. The aim is to transmit useful information without imposing unnecessary personal or medical disclosure.

Visible, useful and verifiable accommodations

A11yNeeds also aims to help services check that announced accommodations are actually available and useful. Feedback should support improvement, not punishment.
